Swedish dye solar cells: Dyenamo

17 01 2013

After many years of work on the applied side of science and technology of dye sensitized solar cells, Anders Hagfeldt and his collegues have launched the company Dyenamo to contribute to the nascent industrial activities of this promising photovoltaic technology. They will cover a broad spectrum of R&D activities from fundamental research and material development to applied prototyping, up-scaling, and manufacturing process development, and provide DSC materials, mainly organic dyes and cobalt-based electrolytes. These materials have been largely devoted by the Uppsala groups and produced a major impact on the development of DSCs.

Here is a sample monolythic pannel 30×30 cm2 with 6% efficiency.

Good luck!
